Corrections Policy
Standards of Accuracy & Transparency
Reader trust is Bali Alpha's greatest asset. We are committed to correcting errors quickly, transparently, and honestly.
1. Commitment to Accuracy
Journalism, at its core, is a discipline of verification. However, human errors can occur. When we are wrong, we do not hide it. We correct it openly. This policy applies to all content on the Bali Alpha platform, including news articles, analysis, data, and social media posts.
2. Reporting Errors
We invite readers to help us maintain our standards of accuracy. If you spot a factual error, please immediately contact us via contact@balialpha.com. Please include a link to the article, a description of the error, and (if possible) a correct reference source.
3. Types of Corrections
Major Factual Errors
For substantial errors (e.g., misspelled names, incorrect figures, wrong dates, or misinterpreting data), we will:
- Edit the article with the correct information.
- Add an editor's note at the bottom of the article explaining what was wrong and when the fix was made.
- Disseminate the correction on social media if the error was widely promoted.
Minor Errors (Typos & Grammar)
Typographical, spelling, or grammatical errors that do not alter the meaning or facts of the article will be fixed directly without an editor's note, for reading convenience.
Retractions
In very rare cases where an article fundamentally violates our ethical standards or is based on information proven to be entirely false, we will retract the article. We will replace the article text with an editor's explanation regarding the reason for retraction.
4. Right of Reply
Individuals or organizations who are the subject of our reporting have the right to respond or refute if they feel aggrieved by inaccuracies. Rights of reply will be processed in accordance with journalistic ethics and applicable Press Laws.
